We’re supporting the SBBOT Restharrow Scrape Project in Sandwich

Westerhill Homes is supporting Sandwich Bay Observatory Trust with their Restharrow Scrape Project and adopting 4 virtual plots at the reserve, on behalf of residents at our local new homes development, Pebble Gate Place.

The Restharrow Scrape Project at the reserve, has a target to raise over £340,000 to complete the 3-year project, which is well underway with the scrape development work completed, new hide installed, an old one refurbished, supported by the National Lottery Heritage Fund. Support has been welcomed by the Trust for their on-going outreach work with children and young adults, including regular monthly and school holiday activities.

As well as supporting SBBOT, Westerhill Homes is also giving each of its Pebble Gate Place residents, a year’s season ticket for entrance to Sandwich Bay, a private estate with vehicle access to the beach, encouraging visits by residents for walking, cycling, bird watching, swimming and outdoor activities.

Pebble Gate Place is a small development of only 56 new homes, and has been selling fast with only a limited number of 2, 3 & 4 bedroom homes now available, with a Spring offer available on Plot 39 The Flint 3 bedroom home available for completion by 31 May.
Each of the homes has the companies signature specification which includes: Italian Kitchens, Fridge/Freezer, Washing Machine, Dishwasher (selected plots), carpets and ceramic tiled floors to wet rooms and Kitchen, and Turf to the rear garden.

The first completions have taken place with customers moving into their new homes at the development.

Pebble Gate Place is a few minutes’ drive to the town centre, supermarket, station and amenities; easy access to the A259 with connections to the A2 & M20 at Folkestone.
