Stamp Duty holiday help for house buyers - news announced yesterday

It’s great news for house buyers following the announcement by Rishi Sunak, Chancellor of the Exchequer, yesterday that house purchases up to £500,000*, will benefit from a temporary Stamp Duty payment holiday.

Zero Stamp Duty for house purchases up to £500,000 has taken immediate effect and will run until next March, saving house buyers significant amounts. This means you must legally complete on your home transaction within this tax holiday period.
