Take at look at the wonderful winning drawings off our staff children's art competition

Tuesday 7th September 2021

As we are the Official Presenting Partner for Elmer’s Big Heart of Kent Parade, in support of Heart of Kent Hospice we organised a children’s art competition for our colleague’s children, nieces, nephews and God-children.

The theme,  in line with week 2 of the Parade was ‘Inclusivity, creativity & diversity’.

From the entries,  our CEO Ian Savage chose the two winning entries, the fish drawing was entered by Ivy, aged 3 and daughter of one of our Senior Site Managers, and the drawing on the right is by Gracie aged 10, daughter of one of our Site Managers. As joint winners Ivy and Gracie won a £25 book vouchers.

Ian Savage, CEO Westerhill Homes says ‘ I was delighted to  be able to choose the winning entries for our competition, it highlighted an important message which Elmer’s Big Heart of Kent Parade is promoting through the Parade.  Ivy’s drawing and colouring is very pretty and the words and really spoke to me about ‘inclusivity’, and Gracie’s lovely drawing with the poem is both creative and meaningful. I hope they are enjoying their book vouchers and that they continue with their excellent drawing and colouring’.

Elmer’s Big Heart of Kent Parade is now  finished however, and the auction of all the Elmers to raise funds for Heart of Kent Hospice is on the 9th September.
